Kids' Connection is Divine Redeemer's version of Sunday School, an understanding and connection of lessons that help teach about God's salvation and his mercy while making a real connection to the Bible and worship here at Divine Redeemer. This time that children ages 3 (preschool) through 6th grade spend in Kids' Connection is vital to their spiritual growth. It is a time for children to meet and interact with their peers, learn Bible stories with lessons and songs that praise the Lord.
*3-year olds (Preschool) through 6th Grade meet in the Media Center at 9:15 AM for a 15 minute opening: a brief welcome, song, prayer, and announcements. Children are then dismissed to their classrooms for the remainder of the time. Parents are encouraged to personally pick up their children at their classrooms. Signage is used to help guide parents for the first several weeks in the fall.
Kids' Connection offers an opportunity to dig deeper into the Bible Stories! We provide children a fun environment to learn more about Jesus. Join us this year for children’s lessons, games, crafts, music fun and more! Adults you can come by volunteering in many ways! Please let one of us know where your skills could be helpful. Contact via e-mail: email@example.com. or call 262-367-8400. Andrea Yawney will connect with you once she receives your email or phone call.
Currently, we are staffing Kids' Connection 2 grades per teacher. High School students volunteer their time as assistants in most of our classes.
*Your child must be 3 by September 1st to attend Kids' Connection in the fall. It is nice to have children potty-trained, but if they are not, please be sure to communicate this with the director in advance so that we are prepared. If your child has special needs, please speak with the director about them to determine if we will be able to meet your child's needs and include them in Kids' Connection. It is important to Divine Redeemer that all children feel welcomed and experience the love and forgiveness of Jesus!
