PASTOR JEFFERY S. SCHUBERT
Pastor Jeff graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 1981 with degrees in theology, psychology, and sociology. After serving parishes in Nebraska and Wisconsin, Pastor Jeff accepted an executive position with the South Wisconsin District Office of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in Milwaukee, in 1989. In 1998, he accepted the challenge to establish a national office for marriage and family headquartered at the International Center of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod in St. Louis.
In 2005, Pastor Jeff was promoted to the position of Executive Director of District and Congregational Services for the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod at the International Center and was responsible for supervising the youth ministry, school ministry, family ministry, child ministry, and stewardship executives and support staff at the national office.
In 2009, Pastor Jeff felt the Lord leading him to return to his first love, parish ministry, and now he serves as the Executive Pastor of Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church and School in Hartland.
During his career, Pastor Jeff continued to be in great demand as a preacher, keynote speaker, satirical humorist, master of ceremonies, seminar leader, and professional trainer. He has authored a wide variety of materials and has received numerous national awards.
Pastor Jeff and his wife, Judy are recognized for training thousands of professionals in premarital and marital education, as well as for their national and international leadership in marriage enrichment. They have two grown children, and two grandchildren.
Pastor Jeff has also worked as a radio personality in addition to being a certified scuba diving instructor with over 40 years of diving experience. He presently spends most of his free time in an airplane cockpit with over 20 FAA general aviation safety awards to his credit as a licensed private pilot.
