Lutheran Early Response Team Training: You will be trained to become a certified member of the District’s Lutheran Early Response Team (LERT). This class will be held at Bethlehem, Wales, on Saturday, July 31st from 9am-4pm. If a disaster should happen, teams would be put on-call and may be asked to deploy in 72 hours or less to respond to the disaster. A Steward's Journey: Wind River Lutheran Mission Trip: Sept. 26-Oct. 1, 2010, Wind River Reservation, Wyo. Fish the trout-filled streams and lakes of the Wind River Basin and serve Christ and the Indian tribes on the Wind River Indian Reservation. Join South Wisconsin District President John Wille and Tim Dittloff as they partner with our brothers in Christ in the Wyoming District for this servant event. Highlights include nightly Bible studies with President Wille; an opportunity to do maintenance projects and serve the mission; fishing and hiking with tribal children; and fishing with the mission team. The trip starts in Jackson Hole, staying at a hotel in Lander, Wyo. Cost is $50 per person per night for lodging. Airfare and meals are not included in this price.
