Special Voters Meeting: Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012. Purpose: Elect a President-Elect for 2012; Elect two delegates to the LCMS South Wisconsin District Convention in June 2012; Constitution and by-law changes; Explanation of DRLC’s Strategic Plan and Direction; Progress Report of the Nehemiah Initiative and Q & A. Members are eligible to vote at a meeting if they have been accepted into the voting membership of the congregation at a previous Voters meeting, as explained in Article 2, Section 1 of the Bylaws.

Divine Redeemer Lutheran School Open House for prospective families for the Fall 2012 school year. Anyone interested in meeting the highly trained faculty, completing a comprehensive tour and receiving school information is welcome to drop-in either Tuesday, February 7th or Thursday, February 16th between the hours of 8am & 8pm.

Lutheran Singles Events: Friday, Feb 10, 2012 and Friday, March 10, 2012 at 6:30pm: Fish Fry at Schwabenhof Lounge & Hall, Menomonee Falls. Call 414-208-8048 at least 24 hours prior to the event to sign-up.

Baptism Information Meeting: We ask all parents whose children will be baptized to attend a one session Baptism information class. The next class will be held on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Call Gail Arnold to register: 262-367-8400. Childcare is available upon request.

The Annual Father/Daughter Valentine Dance will be held on Saturday, Feb. 18 from 6:30-9:00pm in the gym. Tickets are now on sale and may be purchased in the school office or by mail. Advanced tickets: $9 adults/$7 daughters by Feb. 11th. Price at the door: $11 adults/$9 daughters. Donations Needed: Mini deli sandwiches, cheese/sausage/cracker trays, fruit/veggie trays, bags of valentine’s day candy, baked goods, 2 liter bottles of Sprite, Ginger Ale, and Fruit Punch. The Ash Wednesday Worship Service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22nd: 6:30pm in the church. Midweek Lenten Worship Services will be held every Wednesday from Feb. 29 through March 28th at 6:30pm in the church. Monday Evening Worship will be discontinued during Lent (from Feb.20th - April 9th). Monday Evening worship will resume on Monday, April 16th: 630pm.

DRLC Kindergarten/Preschool Classroom Experience: Thursday, Feb. 23rd from 1-2:30pm. You are invited to bring your child and experience all Divine Redeemer has to offer 3K, 4K and 5K Kindergarteners for Fall of 2012. Stay with your child and observe them interact with the teachers, enjoy a story time, complete a project and more. Preregister for this event by Feb. 20th by contacting the school office at 367-3664.

2012 VBS Team Meeting: Thursday, Feb. 23rd at 7pm in the prayer room. We will begin to organize and plan Vacation Bible School: June 25-29,2012. If you are interested in helping with crafts or with brainstorming ideas for VBS please come or email any ideas to andrew.kroemer@drlc.org. We are looking for a team of three people to head up VBS this year.

7th-12th grade Youth Ski Trip to Alpine Valley: Sunday, Feb. 26th from 1-7pm. Cost is $35 including lift ticket and equipment rental. Leave from church at 1pm and return back to church at 7pm.
