STATEMENT OF FAITH:

I believe that the Bible is God's Word and therefore the only guide to heaven.

I believe in God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and am resolved to suffer all things, even death, rather than to fall away from the Triune God.

I believe that I am a sinner and that by my sins I have deserved to be eternally lost.

I believe that there is salvation from all my sins in Jesus Christ, God's Son, who sacrificed Himself for my salvation on the cross of Calvary.

I believe that by faith in Christ I will be saved eternally.

DECISION, PETITION and PROMISE :

I wish to become a member of Divine Redeemer Lutheran Church, Hartland, Wisconsin

It is my sincere purpose to be faithful in attendance at Church and Holy Communion

I will strive for purity of the church by avoiding false doctrines and ungodly living.

I will be temperate in all things and will guard myself against bringing dishonor upon the Savior and His Church.

I will support my Church's mission with my offerings and prayers.

I permit the Pastors and lay ministers to guide, warn and watch over me.
