For the past 10 years Pastor Schubert has been serving as the Executive Director of District & Congregational Services at Synod Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to that, he served in the South Wisconsin District Office in Milwaukee from 1989 to 1998. He was Pastor at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mequon, Wisconsin from 1983-1989. From 1981 to 1983 he served as Pastor at Faith Lutheran in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Pastor has been married to Judy for 31 years. Judy is a registered orthopedic nurse. They have two grown children - Christin 30 and Joseph 24.
