Meaningless

Description
Ecclesiastes describes life "under the sun" as hevel, a puff of smoke or a breath that vanishes before we can catch it. This ancient text does not ask us to despise the good things we enjoy; instead, it simply admits they cannot bear the full weight of our souls. We often crush our careers, relationships, and pleasures by demanding they provide a permanence they never possessed, leaving us frustrated when they inevitably change or fade. By admitting that these temporary gifts are fleeting, we are finally free to enjoy them for what they are, while anchoring our ultimate trust in Jesus, the only rock that remains when the mist clears.
