IN GOD WE TRUST
Description
As our nation looks ahead to celebrating 250 years of independence in 2026, we are reminded that true freedom and security are not found in ourselves, our possessions, or even our nation’s strength, but in the Lord alone. This year our school theme, “In God We Trust,” also becomes our church focus as together we anchor our lives in the One who never fails.
Through this series, we will be reminded that our trust is:
-
Not Our Plans – God’s wisdom is greater than our own, and His ways always prevail.
-
Not Our Possessions – All that we have is temporary, but in Christ we have eternal treasure.
-
Not Our People – We give thanks for family, leaders, and friends, but our ultimate trust rests in the Lord who never leaves us.
-
Not Our Power – Nations rise and fall, but God’s power alone saves and sustains His people.
Join us as we confess together with the psalmist: “Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God” (Psalm 20:7).
